Digital Supercluster Proposal ($153M awarded)

Project scope

1

Development and writing of the winning proposal for B.C.’s Digital Technology Supercluster — a large-scale consortium competing for federal investment under Canada’s $950-million Innovation Superclusters Initiative.

Core challenges

2

Dozens of organizations, multiple industries and highly technical initiatives had to be brought together into a single persuasive proposition: why this particular innovation ecosystem warranted major federal investment and how it could generate economic value at national scale.

Approach

3

Complex technical, commercial and strategic inputs were synthesized into a cohesive investment narrative, connecting individual initiatives to a broader vision for collaboration, commercialization and Canadian leadership in digital technology.

Outcome

4

$153 million in federal funding secured. The Digital Technology Supercluster was chosen as one of only five successful Superclusters nationwide, following a competition that attracted more than 50 initial proposals and advanced nine to the final proposal stage.
